“The FCJ Centre is pleased to announce that we are now accepting registrations for the 2021-2023 Spiritual Direction Training Program (SDTP). SDTP is an intensive, ecumenical, two-year program meeting on Wednesday evenings, along with four-weekend retreats. The aim of SDTP is to help participants 1) deepen their own faith life and 2) walk with others on their spiritual path. The program will also provide space and guidance for the participants to discern their call to the ministry of one-on-one spiritual direction and/or retreat work.
Applicants for SDTP need to be faith-filled people, open to growth. They need to be integrated personalities, responsible, dependable, reflective and able to relate to others. They need to be open to learning in a group and able to respect the confidentiality of the conversations that take place in the group. Your honest sharing will assist the Selection Team as they discern the applicant’s suitability for this program.
Once we have received your application form, your personal essay, and two reference forms, you will be contacted for an interview with the Spiritual Direction Training Program team.
